The Academy
Pilot, FPS, fleet, and crew skills — developed through our academy. Every division runs its own pipeline: 101 makes you operational, 102 and 103 make you dangerous, 200-level makes you elite. Handbook v4.0 — condensed for the public record.
Your First 24 Hours
If you only do nine things in your first day — these are the nine.
Verify on Discord
Clear verification so the system knows you are real and yours.
Apply on RSI
File your application on the org's RSI page so the roster matches the record.
Drop into the Airlock
Say hello. Every operator you will ever fly with started in the same room.
Read the Doctrine
Twenty minutes with Part II of the handbook. Know how the org fights before you fight in it.
Choose Your Path
Path A — Support Auxiliary, the default crew entry. Path B — direct enlistment into a division.
Book Your 101
Check the Training Schedule channel and RSVP. Showing up to your 101 is what makes you operational.
Open the Mission Board
Run /mission browse, filter to your division. The first page is your starter set — take it in order.
Declare a Specialism
Optional: declare a Third Logistics Specialism from the Helix Corps seven pillars.
Show Up. Listen.
Speak when you have something to say. Reputation here is built in voice, on ops, over time.
Three Tiers
Every course in the academy sits in one of three tiers. Entry classes are open to all. Advanced modules are rolled out gradually — and are often invite-only for those pursuing the Strike Carrier Group.
Entry — 101
- Support 101 — Crew Fundamentals
- Gunship / Heavy Fighters / Capital 101 — pilot tracks
- Raptor 101 — Aim & Fighter Fundamentals
- BCT 101 — FPS Combat Basics
- Helix 101 — Loadmaster & Logistics Basics
Intermediate — 102 / 103
Teamfighting drills, communication mastery, ship maneuver theory, open-field warfare, CQB.
- Raptor 102 / 103
- BCT 102 / 103 + Practical
Advanced — 200+
- Raptor 201 / 203 — advanced ACM doctrine
- NAVCOM 201 — capital ship command
- BCT 201 — advanced CQB & urban warfare
- Helix 201 — advanced logistics operations
The RAPTOR Program
// "Swift as the gale, precise as the blade." — RAPTOR is a program, not a rank.
The fighter pilot pipeline. Cadets enter at Raptor 101 and hold Cadet rank until the 101–103 sequence is cleared. The 200-level courses carry the wing's canonical air combat doctrine — communication, formations, role structure, and the kill-speed philosophy.
Supplementary Drills
- Knife fighting
- ACM pair drills
- 2v1 and 2v2 engagements
- Wing-level integration
Pair Doctrine
Typhoon flies in permanent pairs — Engaged Fighter and Support Fighter. The RAPTOR 200-level teaches when those roles swap, and how fast.
Where It Leads
- S6 Cadet — in the 101–103 pipeline
- S5 Adept — cleared for active ops
- S2 Captain — distinction: Tempest · Sentinel · Warhawk · Ghostblade
Basic Combat Training
// From Star Marine to the boarding corridor.
The marine pipeline. BCT takes a recruit from FPS fundamentals through open-field warfare into close-quarters battle — first in theory, then live, on ships and stations. Private Recruits hold entry rank until the 101–103 sequence is cleared.
What You Train For
- Recon and infiltration
- Ship boarding
- Urban warfare
- Demolitions and sabotage
- EVA combat · sniper support
Buddy-Pair Doctrine
The corps is built around standing buddy-pairs, grouped into squads and fireteams. Your pair is assigned early in the pipeline — you clear rooms with the same marine you trained with.
Where It Leads
- S6 Private Recruit — in the BCT pipeline
- S5 Private — trained, operationally reliable
- BCT 201 — the gate to squad and fireteam leadership
Logistics School
// Sufficiency · quality · velocity.
The logistics pipeline. Helix training is short on ceremony and long on throughput: two courses, a certification ladder across the seven pillars, and officers who train the operators under them. Every org member — combat divisions included — is invited to cross-train here.
Pillar Certifications
Credential codes across the seven pillars:
- BLI · LSS-C · LTO-C · CE-C
- RSE-C · DLO-C · SLA-C · VSD-M
Officers Train Operators
LC-2 Helix Officers lead a pillar or operation, approve submissions — and train the LC-1 operators in the field. The ladder teaches as it climbs.
Third Specialism
Every member is recommended to declare a Third Logistics Specialism from the seven pillars. It cross-trains the org — combat divisions flex into logistics during surge ops, and declared specialists are eligible for cross-division call-up.
Behind The Door
Two things do not sit on a public page. The standing orders library — every SOP, manual, checklist and recording the org keeps, filed by division, some of it members-only. And the written self-tests that go with the courses above: a check against the course material, sat in your own time and marked on the spot.
Both are on your training record, with the passes you already hold and the ones you are working toward.
Take What Is On Page 1
Every division keeps its starter missions on the first page of the board. Do them in order. Get them validated. By the time the first page is clear, you have the points and the demonstrated competence to qualify for the next tier review.
